HOW WE COLLECT THE INFORMATION

There are many ways that Fipper obtains information from you:

When you sign up as a FIPPER member at FIPPER store, FIPPER outlet or FIPPER online
membership portal.
Upon signing up at a FIPPER event.
From information provided by you when making an online or retail purchase.

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you register online to receive our email updates or when you register for the FIPPER membership program, you will need to provide us with your name, email address, nationality, contact number, and date of birth to confirm you are age 18 or older. When you make a purchase through FIPPERSLIPPER.COM.MY, you also will need to give us your email address, shipping address, billing address (if different) and telephone number so we can process your payment and contact you in the event of any problems with delivery. If you contact our customer service department, you may need to provide us with additional information so that we can respond to your questions or concerns as completely and thoroughly as possible. If you fail to supply us with such personal data, we may not be able to process and/or disclose your personal data for any of the above purposes.

In order to provide users and subscribers with the most efficient and enhanced service and better
understand your preferences, we may request your gender, shopping experience and product interest. FIPPER members can specify email notification preferences. Whether or not you provide this information is entirely up to you.

The information obtained from online registration is utilized to improve your shopping experience with FIPPER by enabling you to earn reward points, obtain a faster checkout for purchases and/or opt-in to receive promotional emails, which provide you with the latest and greatest information regarding FIPPER and its products.

The telephone and credit card number information we ask for when you order online is used only to complete the order, confirm the order and confirm the shipment of the order. This information is then stored only for the purpose of faster checkout, and is not used for any other purpose.

SHARING INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES

Except as described in the Privacy Policy, FIPPER does not sell, rent or trade any personal information you provide to us online or at our stores, nor do we share such information with third parties. We may disclose personal information about you to third parties who provide services to us and who agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and use the information only in connection with the services they provide.

Examples of these services include payment processing and authorization, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customization, order fulfillment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, membership program, website evaluation, data analysis, data cleansing and where applicable. In proceeding with your online order, you agree that both your name and address and those of the delivery name and address (if different) may be checked using third parties such as credit agencies. If you are providing a delivery name and address which is not your own, you must have that person’s permission to give us the information and for us to use it for the purposes specified. By providing it, you are saying that you have their permission.

We share aggregated demographic information about our user base with our agents, including agencies or third party vendors so that we can provide marketing analysis and consult on advertising strategies. This information does not identify individual users. From time-to-time, FIPPER communicates to customers by email to inform them of changes via
news@fipperslipper.com, special offers that might become available, matters relating to their FIPPER membership, changes to the details on the membership, changes on the membership portal, changes to the collaterals in stores and other information FIPPER believes will be of interest to site visitors. FIPPER will send these types of emails to you only if you opt-in to receive FIPPER email messages (by registering to receive our email updates or registering for the FIPPER membership program or by contacting our customer service department and specifically requesting to be added to our email list,) and you can easily unsubscribe any time you want by updating your contact preferences on our website or by following the instructions contained in the email.

FIPPER also uses your email address to confirm your order and shipment of your order, and respond to any inquiries you make online. Because we have to communicate with you about orders that you choose to place, you cannot opt-out of receiving emails related to your order.

OPT-OUT / UNSUBSCRIBE

You may request to stop receiving electronic communications from FIPPER anytime. You can choose to cancel emails by updating your contact preferences on our website.

To unsubscribe from SMS, MMS, or other mobile messaging, you may also follow the instructions in the messages you receive. Similarly, all emails you receive will provide you with the information as to how to get off the email mailing list if you so desire.

It takes some time to put opt-outs in effect, so you may still receive electronic communications from FIPPER for several weeks after your request is received. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you cannot opt-out of order emails as described above.

MINOR PRIVACY

FIPPER takes special care to protect the safety and privacy of children. Our websites are general audience sites. We do not permit anyone under the age of 18 to register with us. We also do not send email correspondence to anyone who tells us that they are under the age of 18.

FIPPER will provide you with access to the personal information you provided to FIPPER by allowing you to view, update or correct your information. In order to protect your privacy, FIPPER takes steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your private information or enabling you to make corrections. FIPPER will accomplish this through the use of passwords and personal data.

SECURITY

FIPPER employs industry-standard security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. In addition, we utilize a licensed system for credit card authorization and fraud detection. We use industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect confidentiality of your personal information.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Please do not share your password with anyone. Although we make good faith efforts to store information collected by FIPPER in a secure operating environment, transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee complete security. Information collected by FIPPER will be maintained for a length of time appropriate to our needs.

TERMS & CONDITION

FIPPER MALAYSIA BUDDIES MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The application and the use of the Fipper BUDDIES Membership program are subject to the following terms and conditions:

DEFINITIONS

The Terms defined and used herein shall have the following definitions:-

“Company” – Refers to Fipper Marketing Sdn. Bhd.
“Application” – Refers to the process completed and submitted by the applicant, in order to become a Fipper Member within the Fipper Membership program.
“Membership” – Refers to the Fipper BUDDIES Membership program.
“Member” – Refers to a Fipper Member who has agreed to all terms of use upon signing up with this Membership program.
“Points” – Refers to the Points earned or redeemed by using the Membership.
“Transaction” – Refers to the purchase transacted on Fipper merchandise by Fipper Member at any Fipper Participating Stores.
“Participating Stores” -Refers to selected participating Fipper Concept Stores and Fipper Outlet Stores in Malaysia excluding e-commerce platforms. The Company reserves the right to make changes to the list of Participating Stores from time to time. For the full list of the Participating Fipper Stores, please click here.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

The Terms defined and used herein shall have the following definitions:-

The Fipper Membership program is a free membership by choice and the Membership is not for sale nor transferable
Only one (1) Membership sign-up per person is allowed. Corporations, associations, including school organizations, or other groups may not participate in the Fipper Membership Program.
Any individual person aged 18 or above may apply to be a Member. However, the Company reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion the eligibility of any individual as a Member and to reject any application for the Fipper Membership Program without having to provide any reason whatsoever to the applicant.
A valid email and Malaysian mobile number is required in order to apply for the Membership on the Member portal.
The Application can be performed by an applicant online via the Member portal at https://members.fipperslipper.com.my

EARNING AND EXPIRY POINTS

The Member is entitled to earn Points only after the Member has successfully registered with the Membership program.
The Points awarded are valid for lifetime without expiry date. However, if the Membership is not renewed upon expiry of the Membership, the collected Points will be forfeited upon expiry of the existing Membership.
Each Member is entitled to earn 1 Point for every RM1 nett spent on purchase transacted by the Member via selected Fipper Participating Stores in Malaysia.
Membership Points collection is applicable to all merchandise in Fipper Participating Stores in Malaysia. The Member must be present at the time of Transaction to earn Points. No Points collection will be allowed if the Member is not present at the time of Transaction.
Personal data such as mobile numbers will be requested for verification purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy on how we collect and process personal data.
Points collection is allowed on the nett spending amount when any other external non-Fipper membership-related discount vouchers are being used and this will consist of but is not limited to FIPPER promotional vouchers, FIPPER discounts, any form of external brand’s joint partnership vouchers, other brand partner’s vouchers, shopping mall or landlord vouchers. For example: RM150 products with usage of RM50 discount voucher = RM100 nett payment which will be entitled to 100 points.
The Company reserves the rights at any time to disallow Points collection for any ongoing promotions, sales or offers without prior notice.

REDEMPTION OF POINTS

To be eligible for redemption of Points, the accumulation of Points must be a minimum of 100 Points to be entitled for redemption of e-vouchers worth RM1.
Redemption of Points are allowed at all Participating Stores and Members must be present at the Participating Store during the redemption of Points.
Personal data such as mobile number(s) may be required at time of redemption for verification purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy on how we collect and process personal data.
Points accumulated are not exchangeable for cash or equivalent.

MEMBER PRIVILEGES

Each Member will be entitled to enjoy one(1) RM5 discount Welcome e-voucher valid for 1 month from the date of sign up as welcome reward for the first Transaction with minimum spending of RM50 on normal priced items at Participating Stores.
Each Member will be entitled to enjoy one(1) RM5 discount Birthday e-voucher on Member’s birthday month with minimum spending of RM50 on normal priced items at Participating Stores.
2X Points will be awarded every 15th of the month with no minimum spending on all items
including sale items.

MEMBERSHIP EXPIRY AND RENEWAL

Membership is valid for 2 years from the date of sign-up.
Members who opt not to be contacted through communication channels can log in to access their membership account and check their membership details.
Membership can be renewed when Members make any purchase at Participating Stores.
Renewal can be done up to three (3) months in advance of the expiry date and within a three (3) month grace period after expiry.
All accumulated points or existing memberships will be forfeited if not renewed within the grace period.
A new membership cycle of 2 years will commence from the date of Membership expiry with
any purchase at Participating Stores

VOUCHERS TERMS OF USE

All Membership Welcome e-vouchers are valid for 1 month from the date of sign up and valid for one (1) Transaction only.
Only one (1) Welcome e-voucher will be issued per new Member at the point of Sign Up/Registration. There will be no e-voucher rewarded upon renewal of Membership.
Welcome e-vouchers issued to new Members are valued at RM5. Welcome e-vouchers are to be used within the expiry date provided.
E-vouchers redeemed via Member Points collection will be entitled for use on Transactions of all normal priced items at Participating Stores in Malaysia.
E-vouchers which have expired will be void and will not be amended nor refunded to the Member.
E-vouchers used for Transactions which are subsequently voided, canceled or subject to refund will not be credited back into the Member’s account.
Only one (1) e-voucher can be redeemed per Transaction. Redemption of multiple e-vouchers in a single receipt will NOT be allowed.
All e-vouchers are not exchangeable for cash or equivalent.
The discount Birthday e-voucher can only be redeemed at Participating Stores by showing proof of identification such as original identification card or passport subject to minimum spending of RM50 on normal priced items at Participating Stores.

TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION

Members may, at any time, terminate the Membership before the expiry date by written notice to Fipper Marketing Sdn. Bhd. at No.1,3,5,&7, Jalan Indah 2/18, Taman Universiti Indah, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor or email to Customer Service at customercare@fipperslipper.com.
Termination and cancellation process may take up to seven (7) days from the date the request is received.
In the event of an early termination, the date of termination of Membership will serve as the actual termination date.
The Membership may be terminated by Fipper in the event of any breach of the terms and conditions contained herein.
The Company reserves the rights to terminate the Membership if the Membership is found to be shared by the Member to any other party.
Upon termination of the Membership either by the Member or by the Company, the Member shall not attempt to utilize the Membership after it has been terminated as such acts shall be deemed as fraudulent acts.
Upon the termination or cancellation of the Membership account, all Membership benefits including but not limited to Points and active current Member vouchers will be forfeited and Member shall have no further claim against the Company.

DISCRETION

The Membership is the sole property of Fipper Marketing Sdn. Bhd.
Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, if the Membership privileges have been wrongfully or fraudulently utilized, the Member shall be liable to refund the Company the value of the said privileges without dispute.
Any dispute on the Membership privileges shall be notified to the Company within 14 days from the date that the dispute had taken place.
The Company reserves the rights to amend, reserve and / or withdraw any of the Membership, Application or privileges at its discretion at any time with or without prior notice. Termination, modification or suspension may affect a Member’s ability to redeem accumulated Points.
The Company is entitled at any time, with absolute discretion and without liability to the Member, to request for identification, suspend or terminate the Membership should any of the Membership privileges are found to be abused.
The Member shall indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any liability or loss, penalty, damage, costs and expenses, including but not limited to legal costs, arising directly or indirectly from any breach on the part of the Member in using the Membership and non-compliance or observation of the terms and conditions herein.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company (including its directors, officers, agents, consultants and associates, along with its related companies (including affiliate and subsidiary companies)) shall not liable for any loss, damage or liability (whether direct, consequential, indirect, economic or otherwise) incurred by the Member in relation to the Membership, including in relation to: (a) the Member’s use of the Membership; (b) if the Membership is used by any third party, whether with or without the Member’s permission; (c) the Member’s loss of Membership details (or any liability incurred via the Member’s loss of Membership details, whether before or after the Company is notified regarding the Member’s loss of Membership
details); (d) any revisions to these Terms and Conditions (including revisions to any of the Membership’s benefits); (e) any cancellation of the Membership; or (f) any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Member.
In case of any dispute, the Company reserves the right to reasonably interpret these Terms and Conditions if any of them are unclear or equivocal. These Terms and Conditions shall be
governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia (including where any issues
arise in respect of the use of the Membership in Malaysia).

PERSONAL DATA

The Member hereby acknowledges and agrees that any personal data which is provided to the Company in the Member’s Application for use of the Membership will be collected, used and stored in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy available at https://members.fipperslipper.com.my and applicable law.
By submitting the Application, and assessing and/or using the Fipper Membership Program, the Member is deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by the Company’s Privacy Policy

MAKLUMAT YANG DIKUMPULKAN

Apabila anda mendaftar dalam talian untuk menerima e-mel kami ataupun untuk program keahlian Fipper, anda perlu memberikan nama, alamat e-mel, kewarganegaraan, nombor telefon dan tarikh lahir anda untuk mengesahkan bahawa anda berumur 18 tahun dan ke atas. Apabila anda membuat satu pembelian melalui FIPPERSLIPPER.COM.MY, anda juga perlu memberikan alamat e-mel, alamat penghantaran, alamat bil (jika berbeza) dan nombor telefon supaya kami dapat memproses pembayaran anda dan menghubungi anda sekiranya terdapat masalah dengan penghantaran.
